SINOPSE :-
Holly Kennedy (Hilary Swank) é casada com Gerry (Gerard Butler), um irlandês engraçado por quem é completamente apaixonada. Porém quando Gerry morre devido a uma doença a vida de Holly também acaba, já que ela entra em profunda depressão. Mas o que ela não esperava era que, imaginando que isto poderia acontecer, Gerry deixou para ela diversas cartas antes de morrer. Cada uma delas busca guiar Holly no caminho de sua recuperação, não apenas da dor pela sua perda mas também de sua própria redescoberta.

– Durante a realização da cena de striptease o suspensório de Gerard Butler atingiu a testa de Hilary Swank, fazendo com que a atriz fosse levada ao hospital.
– O ator Jeffrey Dean Morgan teve que aprender a tocar guitarra em um curto espaço de tempo para o filme. Ele teve como instrutor Nancy Wilson, da banda Heart.
– A personagem de Swank brinca que uma de suas opções de emprego era se tornar uma escrava de vampiros. Ela atuou na versão para os cinemas de Buffy: A Caça Vampiros. Já o ator James Marsters participou da versão televisiva de Buffy, enquanto que Butler estrelou Drácula 2000.
